Position Description

Parker HealthcareIT has partnered with a healthcare organization located in Central Washington (state) whose mission is to be the best rural hospital district in America. They are seeking an experienced Information Systems Director to oversee hardware and software system support to all departments within this healthcare system and to lead an IS team with the goal of providing a high level of service excellence to all stakeholders.

This is a permanent, full time position. Relocation assistance is provided along with a competitive compensation and generous benefits package
Responsibilities
  • Leading highly visible IS projects including VOIP, Data Center and all hardware and software system planning, budgeting and staffing
  • Will hold responsibility for network management and design
  • Developing and implementing training plans for Meditech and PC users and work closely with the IS team to research and resolve Server, Meditech, PC software and hardware user issues
  • Creating service excellence best practices for the IS group and providing leadership in implementing those practices into the work culture
Experience
  • A healthcare IS background is required with experience working in a multi-vendor network environment
  • Working knowledge of Meditech is necessary; experience with Practice Partners is a plus
  • Strong leadership ability with demonstrated skill in leading, mentoring and coaching technical teams is desired along with an ability to develop, lead, troubleshoot and manage large-scale IS projects
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
