Position Description

We are currently looking for multiple strong HIM (Healthcare Information Management) Application Coordinators for our client in Virginia. These individuals will be responsible for the development and design of Epic HIM within an enterprise Epic system. Responsibilities
  • Review the software, analyze workflow, work with end-users to gather requirements
  • Work with the vendor and end users to tailor the new system for the organization
  • Map current state and future workflows
  • Actively participate in Enterprise and local systems Design, Build and Validate (DBV) sessions
  • Troubleshoot problems or questions from end-users
  • Aid trainers during User Training
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Science or Information Systems (Epic certifications and relevant professional experience will be considered)
  • Workflow process analysis and design, and training skills
  • Experience in Epic implementations and/or clinical information systems installations
  • Epic HIM certification is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with application design
