Position Description

We are currently seeking a Director of Sales and Business Development for our client in Pennsylvania. This is a newly created role within the organization that will offer you high visibility, high impact and high expectations. The Director must already be based on the East Coast – PA, NY, MA are ideal locations. Competitive compensation and bonus structure.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development and sales process to include customer prospecting, lead generation, negotiating and managing customer relationships
  • Adept in partnering with and selling to high-level corporate contacts within research groups of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and health research industries
  • Charged with creating and managing strategic relationships with new and existing customers to increase market share and new business opportunities
Experience
  • Minimum of ten years experience in business environment with at least 5 years selling into the pharmaceutical research or health analytics industry
  • Successful sales track record in highly driven, high expectation environment. Excellent account management skills
  • Expert negotiation and closing ability. Entrepreneurial, team player
  • Bachelors degree required
