Position Description

This position in Seattle, WA supports the effective business and clinical operations of the Perioperative Information System (Cerner SurgiNet) by ensuring a reliable production environment, supporting / testing upgrades, enhancing application, and providing user support.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance the SurgiNet application.
Provide user support to resolve and/or coordinate resolution of issues. (Note: Includes off hours call support)
Perform project management tasks such as establishing project tasks, timelines, and deliverables, facilitating and coordinating workgroups, and managing resources.
Perform functional analysis and/or re-engineer end user processes to support clients principles and practices.
Ensure the reliable operation of the production environment by supporting required testing, issue resolution and/or upgrade support as directed by the CIS Team (enterprise focus).

Experience

Demonstrated experience (2 – 5 years) supporting application build, testing, trouble shooting and support.
Must demonstrate an understanding of database design, personal computers, mainframes, and networking, working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
In-depth understanding of the client's business, possess strong management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical ability, the ability to be flexible and to manage multiple tasks.
A Bachelors Degree or its equivalent is desired.
