Position Description

The Ambulatory Clinical Analyst implements and supports clinical applications from the application-user and technical perspectives. This position assists in critical analysis and documentation of system functionality, as well as testing and training of the product. This position provides application and limited technical support for the product line and is responsible for triage and troubleshooting assistance with the application end-user, Care Center Operations, Case Management, vendor, technical, and Help Desk staff.

Responsibilities
  • The Ambulatory Clinical Analyst works closely with other Information Technology departments and may assist with limited technical aspects of a product implementation and on-going support.
  • The incumbent may monitor clinical systems for data quality, integrity, operation, and efficiency.
  • This position must possess a thorough understanding of ambulatory clinic operations, disease management programs, ancillary systems that are associated to clinic operations, and practice management software.
  • The Ambulatory Clinical Analyst will assist in workflow analysis to determine appropriate technology solutions for clinical settings.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Business, or other related field or the equivalent combination of education, hospital/clinic operations, application/hardware support, and software implementation experience may be substituted.
  • This position requires EpicCare Ambulatory Certification or Proficiency.
  • Build experience is preferred
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting is required.
  • Software/hardware implementation experience is preferred.
  • Experience supporting and implementing projects that require a combination of resources and project planning is preferred.
  • Clinical, Care Center Operational and/or health care application experience is preferred.
